Albert is an avid GIS mapper, technology, and data geek, pursuing a Master's degree at the University of California Los Angeles in Urban and Regional Planning. His main career interests are in proliferating low-carbon forms of travel, especially BRT and non-motorized transportation. He hopes to achieve these career goals by reducing the gaps between research and practice, public and non-public sectors, developed and developing countries, through the use of technology. He likes cats, but is vegetarian.
Professor Smart is a transportation expert at the University of California Los Angeles. He is in possession of great knowledge on the research and methodologies related to transportation accessibility and modeling. As it was his initial research outputs that led to the creation of this website.
